Colombo (News 1st): National Building Research Organization said the air quality level in and around Colombo has returned to normalcy. Senior Scientist at the National Building Inspection Organisation, Sarath Premasiri said, the air quality index is currently measured at 50 while it was measured at 148 on Wednesday (November 6).
He further noted many countries in Asia are experiencing a similar situation. He further stated this is due to the air pollution in New Delhi, India which has been affected by the increase in the number of dust particles in the atmosphere.
