Trump: US Will Be Hitting Iran Very Hard Tonight

COLOMBO (News 1st); US President Donald Trump has issued a strongly worded statement signaling imminent military action against Iran, warning that the United States would launch powerful strikes targeting key Iranian defence and strategic infrastructure.

In a message posted on his platform Truth Social, President Trump declared that the United States would be “hitting Iran very hard tonight.”

He further claimed that Iran’s military capabilities had already been severely weakened, stating that its navy, air force, radar systems, anti-aircraft defences, and much of its offensive capacity were effectively neutralised.

The US President also outlined potential future actions, suggesting that the United States could move to take control of Iran’s vital oil infrastructure, including Kharg Island, one of the country’s most critical petroleum export hubs.

“At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their oil and gas markets,” Trump stated.
