Preparations Complete For National New Year Ritual Ceremony

COLOMBO (News 1st): Preparations are complete for this year’s National Ceremony for New Year Rituals, which is set to take place in the Gampaha district.

The ceremony will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.

The Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Professor Hiniduma Sunil Senevi, says that all auspicious rituals falling today are scheduled to be performed symbolically during the event.
