Five Habits Threaten Police Careers - IGP

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Inspector General of Police, Priyantha Weerasooriya, said that five key factors have negatively impacted both the professional and personal lives of police officers.

These include,
Propensity for bribery and corruption
Alcohol and Drug consumption
Unsuitable relationships
Mobile phone addiction, and Online Gambling.

He urged officers to avoid these habits and focus on building successful careers and lives.

He made these remarks during a passing out parade for newly trained police officers held in Kalutara.
