Vijayamuni Questioned Over Australian Dairy Cattle Deal

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Minister Vijith Vijayamuni Zoysa appeared before the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today, following a notice issued by the division.

Police said the former Minister was summoned to record a statement regarding the investigation into the importation of dairy cattle from Australia during the period from 2012 to 2017.

Vijith Vijayamuni Zoysa arrived at the FCID around 10.30 a.m. today and left the premises at approximately 4.00 p.m.
