Three Arrested Over Procurement Fraud at Land Development Corporation

COLOMBO (News1st): The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) arrested three individuals in connection with a major financial fraud involving the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation.

Those arrested include: A retired Chief Engineer, A Mechanical Engineer, An Assistant Managing Director of a private firm.

The arrests were made over allegations of causing a Rs. 41 million loss to the government during the procurement process of two long-arm excavators.
