Married Couple Killed in Road Accident

COLOMBO (News 1st): A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a young married couple in Kananwila along the Horana–Maharagama road.

According to police reports, the accident occurred when the motorcycle the couple was riding overturned and collided with a lorry. 

Both individuals sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

The deceased have been identified as residents of Kiriwatthuduwa, aged 21 and 24.
