Three Dead In Narammala Road Accident

COLOMBO (News 1st)Three people have died in a road accident on the Narammala-Kurunegala road.

Police said the accident occurred when a lorry lost control and collided with an SLTB bus. Two of the deceased, including the lorry driver and a female passenger, were residents of Polonnaruwa, aged 41, 80, and 82.

A female passenger in the lorry and two girls, aged 16 and 9, were injured and are receiving treatment at Kurunegala Teaching Hospital. The bus driver has been arrested in connection with the incident.
