Padmasiri Liyanage Removed As DG Of Land Reforms Commission

COLOMBO (News 1st); Padmasiri Liyanage has been removed from his position as the Director General of the Land Reforms Commission.
The decision follows the revelation of several irregularities within the Commission during the proceedings of the COPE Committee.
Deputy Minister of Lands and Irrigation, Susil Ranasinghe, stated that Dineka Jayasuriya has been appointed as the Acting Director General of the Land Reforms Commission.
