Power Outages Across Sri Lanka Amid Rainy Weather and Ongoing Strike

COLOMBO (News 1st):The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) reports that approximately 30,000 power outages have been recorded across the island due to adverse weather conditions.

The electricity trade unions are currently engaged in a work-to-rule trade union action.

As a result, the restoration of power outages may be delayed, according to Prabath Priyantha, the General Secretary of the Ceylon Electricity Workers' Union (CEWU)
