Police Continue Probe into Borella T56 Shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a person in the Halgahakumbura area of Borella.

Police said the suspects, aged 18 and 19, are residents of the Borella and Wellampitiya areas. One whom is believed to be the rider of the motorcycle used in the shooting.

With these arrests, a total of six suspects have now been taken into custody over the incident.

The Borella Police and Colombo Crime Division are conducting further investigations.

The incident took place on the 4th of last month, when a person was targeted in a shooting involving a T56 firearm in Halgahakumbura, Borella.
