COLOMBO (News 1st) – President Ranil Wickremesinghe announced plans to develop the country's electricity system with India in the future, focusing on the Mannar district. 

He made these comments during his address at the National Milad Un Nabi event held at Mannar Musali National School Stadium this morning. 

President Ranil Wickremesinghe also mentioned his systematic efforts to revive the financially troubled nation that he inherited.
