COLOMBO (News 1st); The State Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government said it received directives to complete all constructions done by local government institutions that were halted midway.

State Minister Janaka Wakkumbura said he was instructed to complete the construction before the 10th of December.

The State Minister said there are several incomplete constructions done by local government bodies including sanitation facilities at bus stops.

He added that construction work for these projects had commenced last year.

State Minister Wakkumbura said he instructed officials to complete the projects and the necessary provisions will be released, so that they can be used by the people.
