"Steps being taken to obtain Cabinet approval for pilot project of cultivating cannabis", says Dilum Amunugama

COLOMBO (News 1st) - State Minister of Investment Promotion  Dilum Amunugama says that steps are being taken to obtain Cabinet approval for the pilot project of cultivating cannabis.

The State minister says that further activities will be implemented based on the results of the pilot project.

He adds that discussions regarding the next steps of the project are being conducted with the local investors who submitted reports on cannabis cultivation.
