US will continue support to Sri Lanka - Nuland

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Under Secretary for Political Affairs of the U.S. Department of State Victoria Nuland met with Foreign Minister Ali Sabry for talks in New York and assured continuous support to the country, as it battles to overcome an economic crisis.

She thanked Minister Sabry for engaging the meeting at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). 

She confirmed that the United States will continue to support Sri Lanka through its economic crisis, and will work together to support a free and prosperous region.
