COLOMBO (News 1st); The Navy has arrested 06 Indian fishermen who violated the international maritime boundary and engaged in illegal fishing activities within the Sea of Sri Lanka.

The arrest took place in the seas off Talaimannar, and the Navy had also seized the trawler and marine equipment during the arrest.

Meanwhile, on 22nd August, 10 Indian fishermen were taken into custody by the Navy during an operation in the sea area off the Mullaitivu area.
