Businessman gunned down by motorcycle gunmen

COLOMBO (News 1st); One person was shot dead by motorcycle gunmen at the Kurusa Junction in Gampaha on Wednesday (24).

Sri Lanka Police said that two men on a motorcycle opened fire at the 34-year-old victim, a businessman, when he exited his lorry parked outside his own store.

CCTV footage showed the gunmen waiting for the victim to leave his vehicle before opening fire, and then fleeing the scene.

The body of the deceased was placed at the Gampaha Hospital.
