Minister instructs strict action against filling stations that defy guidelines

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has instructed the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation to take necessary action against filling stations that do not follow the stipulated guidelines, including the QR code.

The Minister stated this attending a progress review meeting on fuel distribution at the Kolonnawa petroleum distribution terminal on Saturday (13).

The Minister has also focused on the release of fuel for essential services, public transport, fisheries, agricultural needs, industries and tourism.
