Gas Price Formula on 5th of every month

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by the President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stability, and National Policies to immediately implement a cost-representative price formula on the 5th day of every month to ensure the continuous supply of gas and based on the said price formula to revise domestic gas prices.

The price of a Litro 12.5kg gas cylinder was reduced with effect from midnight on Monday (8).

A 12.5kg gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 246, and will now be sold at Rs. 4,664.

The price of a 5kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 99 and a 2.3kg gas cylinder by Rs.45.
