COLOMBO (News 1st); Private-public passenger transport services have been badly affected by the Fuel Crisis in Sri Lanka.

As a result, private buses, three-wheelers, and taxi services are not functioning in their full capacity.

However, the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) and Sri Lanka Railways said their services will continue despite fuel crisis.

President of the Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association Gemunu Wijeratne said that until last night, many private buses were in fuel queues.

He further said due to this the bus services will be limited to 50% of the total private bus service capacity today (8).
