Security Minister meets with IGP & AG, Tennakoon granted leave

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles has met the Attorney General this afternoon (30), and held discussions with IGP C.D. Wickramaratne a well.

However, the issues raised during the discussion were not disclosed to the media.

Meanwhile, Senior DIG in charge of the Western Province Deshabandu Tennakoon has been granted a 14 day leave.

The Police Headquarters stated that Senior DIG D.J. Palihakkara has been appointed to be in charge of the Western Province during the leave period.

SDIG Palihakkara is currently in charge of the Community Police and Environment Division.
