COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has requested the general public not to purchase petroleum products from third parties.
In a tweet, the Minister said that investigations have revealed that individuals are collecting fuel, and are mixing petroleum products with other liquids to sell them at higher prices.
He further requested the general public not to encourage such businesses and to report them to the authorities.
