Police obtains Court order against HND Student Federation

COLOMBO (News 1st); Police took steps to obtain an order from the Fort Magistrate's Court against members of the International Higher National Diploma Student Federation, today (21).

Accordingly, the protestors are not allowed to enter, damage and obstruct Government officials' quarters, and should refrain from any violent or illegal activities.

The Fort Police issued this order after considering a request made by the Court.

Accordingly, the student union has been banned from entering the NSA roundabout in the Fort Police Division to the Chaitya Road, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Ceramic Junction to York Street Junction as well as Bank Road, Lower Chatham Street, Baron Jayatilake Mawatha, Mudalige Mawatha and Hospital Street and many other roads in the area including Canal Road.
