COLOMBO (News 1st); A discussion between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Sri Lankan representatives begins on Monday (9).
The Ministry of Finance stated that the relevant discussions will be held until the 23rd of next month.
The discussions are scheduled to take place online and will be attended by the Finance Minister Ali Sabry, PC, and senior officials from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
The Ministry of Finance stated that it expects to pay more attention to the request made to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for an emergency financial facility.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance stated that a delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka next week to discuss the economic situation in the country.
