Two homicides from Mahawela, & Kotawila

COLOMBO (News 1st); Two people were murdered in Mhaawela and Kotawila areas on Friday (15).

According to the Police a 55-year-old man was stabbed to death with a Mammoty following a dispute at a house in the Delgodalla area in Mahawela.

The suspect involved in the murder has fled the area and investigations are underway to arrest him, Police informed.

At the same time, due to a personal dispute between two groups in the Appugewatta area in Kotawila a 40-year-old person has been stabbed to death.

Police said they are investigating to arrest the suspect in the murder.
