COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Energy announced that 37,500 MT of Diesel will be unloaded on Tuesday (29).

However, people in several parts of the country still have to wait in line for hours to get fuel.

Many essential service vehicles belonging to the Ministry of Health have been seen waiting for fuel at the Union Place Filling Station in Colombo since Tuesday (29) morning.

Many school buses were queuing near the Mirihana Jubilee Post on Tuesday (29) morning waiting for diesel.

Further, there have been long queues at Eheliyagoda in Ratnapura since Tuesday (29) morning to buy fuel.

At the same time, Polonnaruwa farmers have been queuing for fuel for days.

The people of Badulla are also waiting in long queues to get fuel.
