COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the repair work of the main pipeline transporting water to the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant has reached its final stage.

Its Deputy General Manager of the Production Division, Ajith Perera stated that water supply will be restored by 10:00 pm today (19).

The water supply to many parts of Colombo was cut off due to a sudden damage which occurred on the water pipeline last night, and as a result, residents of several areas were severely affected.
