Over 7.5 Mn Sri Lankans given booster dose

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health stated that the COVID-19 Booster dose has been administered to 53% of the eligible population in the country.
According to the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health 7.57 Million people have received the booster dose.
Director of Medical Technology Services, Dr. Anwar Hamdani urged the people to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
According to Dr. Hamdani, of the eligible population to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, 96% have received the 1st dose and 81 percent have received the 2nd dose.
