CAA to trace concealed stocks of goods

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Consumer Affairs Authority stated that island wide raids have been launched to trace if stocks of essential goods have been concealed.

The Chairman of the Consumer Affairs Authourity, Major General (Retired) Shantha Dissanayake said he had received information that some traders had hidden stocks of essential goods.

He said the law would be enforced against traders who conceal stocks of essential goods.
