COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Electricity Board states that it will be possible to provide electricity on Sunday (20) without any interruptions.
Its Media Spokesperson, Andrew Nawamani stated that the demand for electricity has reported a decrease as it is a holiday.
Accordingly, the expected electricity demand is 2,300 MW.
However, he urged consumers to use electricity sparingly between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
