Foolish decisions led to farmers issues - Ranjith

COLOMBO (News 1st); Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian, Ranjith Madduma Bandara stated that the 2.4 Million farmer community of the country is facing several problems due to the fertilizer shortage.

Most of them are cultivating paddy, tea, paper, and rubber, he said adding that these farmers are unable to provide food for their children and send them to school, as farmers are inconvenienced because of these foolish decisions of the government.

"Even strong economies like Japan and America have not completely shifted to organic farming," he added.
