#Vanithabhimana : Provincial level tournaments conclude on a successful note

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Provincial level tournament to select the winners for the National level of the Sri Lanka Vanitabhimana 2021 tournament jointly organized by NDB concluded on Saturday (29), with the Eastern Provincial tournament, which was held in Batticaloa.

Sri Lanka Vanithabimana 2021 is a program aimed at empowering women in Sri Lanka.

The Eastern Provincial Tournament was held in Batticaloa in accordance with health guidelines.

The programme powered by NDB Bank saw winners of the competitions in the Eastern Province being felicitated.

The competitions were held under 10 categories including Entrepreneurship, Young Leader, Voluntary Services, Education, Sports, and Environmental Management.

The 10 winners of each province chosen by an eminent panel of judges will advance to the National level competition of Vanithabhimana 2021.

Workshops and conferences were held as part of the program with the support of the Vocational Training Institute.
