COLOMBO (News 1st); The Railways General Manager says that the token strike launched by the Railway Station Masters Association is has concluded.

However, there may be delays in train operations on Friday (14) morning.

The Railway Station Masters’ Association has said that its members will report to work as usual on Friday (14).

However, the President of the Railway Station Masters Association, Sumedha Somaratne said the railways administration will pay attention to the issues cited in the one-day strike action carried out on Thursday (13).

Railway operations across the country were hampered due to the strike action launched by the Railway Station Masters Association yesterday and passengers were severely inconvenienced as a result.
