Showery condition to increase from tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Meteorology Department states that due to the low-level atmospheric disturbance developing in the vicinity of the island, showery condition over the island is expected to enhance from tomorrow (23). Today, showers or thundershowers may occur in the Northern, North-central and Eastern provinces during the evening or night whilst mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere. General public has been kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
