Why stay within Government and criticize it? - Welgama

COLOMBO (News 1st); Opposition Parliamentarian Kumara Welgama inquires for the reason for Cabinet Ministers to stay within the Government while simultaneously criticizing the Government. Commenting on the statement of the 11 Government parties on opposing the Kerawalapitiya LNG deal with New Fortress Energy Inc. yesterday (29), Welgama stated that the Cabinet Ministers must accept the fact that if their views are not being accepted, and that they should leave the Government. He further stated that Ministerial positions are not permanent and what people need is Government representatives who work for the people and not on behalf of another. Welgama added that if the Government Ministers who oppose this move and the Opposition works together, they can create a good country.
