COLOMBO (News 1st); An unbeaten knock of 85 by Shevon Daniel paved the way for Sri Lanka Under-19 to secure a 3 wicket win in Dambulla against Bangladesh Under-19 on Wednesday (20).
Batting first, the Bangladesh Under-19 team posted 184 all out in 49.3 overs, with Ashikur Zaman contributing 54 with the bat.
Raveen De Silva and Vinuja Ranpul picked up three wickets each.
The Sri Lanka Under-19 team was guided to victory by Shevon Danile with 85 and Wanuja Sahan with 38 as they posted 188/7 in 46.4 overs to win the 3rd Youth ODI and also take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match series.
