COLOMBO (News 1st); Another 06 people (03 men and 03 women) were arrested by Sri Lanka Police for attending the birthday party held at a 05 Star Hotel in Colombo by violating quarantine rules and regulations.

The 06 suspects will be produced in court on Friday (04).

The Colombo Crimes Division has taken over the investigation of the birthday party held at a star-class hotel in Colombo by violating the quarantine rules and regulations.

Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to News 1st on Thursday (03) said technical, scientific, circumstantial evidence and CCTV footage will be used by the CCD in its investigations.

In total 21 suspects (15 men and 06 women) have been arrested while one suspect is evading arrest, said the Police Spokesperson.
