August School Holidays limited to ONE week

COLOMBO (News 1st): A decision has been reached to limit the August School holidays this year to a period of only ONE week, Prof. G.L. Peiris, the Minister of Education announced at a media briefing on Monday (Apr. 19). According to the Education Minister, the decision to limit the August holidays to one week was reached taking into account the upcoming GCE Ordinary Level Examination and the Grade 05 Scholarship Examination.
