"The Billionaire" premiers in Colombo

COLOMBO (News1st): The film "The Billionaire" by Gehan Cooray premiered yesterday at PVR cinemas in Colombo to widespread praise. "The Billionaire" is written and produced by Sri Lankan - American Gehan Cooray who also plays the lead role of the film. The film is an independent production almost completely helmed by Gehan Cooray alone who worked through the production of the film in Canada. It is one of the first Sri Lankan made films to be submitted for nominations for the Oscars and went through its post-production phase through the reputed international film giant, Warner Brothers Studios.
