Colombo (News 1st); The 23rd COVID-19 case was reported in Sri Lanka on Tuesday (03), said the Department of Government Information.
It added a postmortem examination carried out on a 61-year-old woman from Colombo 15 who had passed away at her residence on Monday (02) revealed she was exposed to COVID-19.
The woman was suffering from fever, cough, and throat infection and the Cause of Death was ruled as a Lung Infection, added the Department of Government Information.
It said the Director-General of Health Services confirmed the death as the 23rd COVID-19 fatality in Sri Lanka
