Live Ammunition Found In Mathugama, Probe Launched

COLOMBO(News 1st); Three police teams have launched investigations into the live ammunition discovered in the Sirikandura area of Mathugama.

Police stated that 95 live rounds, used for various types of firearms, were found near a stream in the area.

This stock of ammunition was recovered by Mathugama Police yesterday after receiving a tip-off from a local resident.
