Political Victimization PCoI concludes examining evidence

COLOMBO(News 1st); The Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to probe incidents of Political Victimization has concluded the examining of complaints received. The final report containing recommendations would be submitted to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on or before November 9th, a spokesman said. The Commission, appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa via a special gazette notification, is tasked with investigating alleged political victimization of public and semi-public personnel between January 2015 and November 2019. The Commission has received 1842 complaints. The term of the Commission is due to end on the 9th of November.
