Colombo (News 1st);  Sri Lanka Navy Ship Samudura has sailed en route for the Indonesian sea area to assist distressed multi-day fishing trawlers washed-away to Indonesian seas along with the recent cyclone hit.

Sri Lanka Navy says, over 30 fishing trawlers, washed-away due to the severe impact of cyclone Amphan, are now returning to the country.

The deployed SLN ship, an ‘Advanced off Shore Petrol Vessel’, is expected to assist and direct them to land while fueling them to reach their respective coastal destinations around the country.
