1200 people stranded in Colombo leave for their homes

COLOMBO (News1st) : At least 1200 people stranded in Colombo were facilitated to return to their homes on Tuesday. More than 30 buses were used to transport these people who had gathered at the Bastian Mawatha Bus Stand in Colombo. They were residents of several districts including Badulla, Nuwara Eliya, Ampara, Batticaloa. More than 8500 people who were stranded in the Western Province due to curfew restrictions have returned to their respective hometowns so far.
