Police seize automatic firearm in Thihariya

Police seized an automatic firearm and eight bullet casings at a house, in Malwaththa, Thihariya, following a tip-off. The seized firearm has been identified as a type c pistol manufactured in England. According to the Police, the pistol was thrown to a nearby forest area, after being discovered by a group of people who had arrived at the house, to clean its well.
