All Sunday masses cancelled for two weeks

COLOMBO (News 1st):- His Eminence the Archbishop of Colombo, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith has advised all catholic churches in the Colombo and Chilaw diocese to cancel Sunday masses for a period of two weeks. Speaking at a press briefing held at the Archbishop's house today, the cardinal said that special religious events during the season of lent will have to be halted in order to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus.
