"I will stay with Sajith to make him President" : MP Manusha Nanayakkara

COLOMBO (News 1st):-The Samagi Jana Balawegaya held a public meeting in Karapitiya, Galle today (March 1). The meeting was organized by Parliamentarian Manusha Nanayakkara. Opposition Leader and leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya Sajith Premadasa attended the meeting held at the Karapitiya medical faculty auditorium. Addressing the people gathered Opposition Leader, Sajith Premadasa said: "There are many layers in the democratic political structure, these are activated through elections. Members of the local governments, provincial councils are elected by the people through elections, the president is also elected by the people, but at the end of the day, all of them become an agony aunt. Everyone should understand that there is a person called the ombudsman in the legislature who listens to the woes of everyone." Also speaking at the event, MP Manusha Nanayakkara said: "No matter whatever problem comes our way, and whatever decisions we will have to make, I will stay with you to make you President and to embark on a long journey by uniting all forces. When my parliamentary position was taken from me, and when I did not have money to face legal proceedings, it was Sajith Premadasa who gave me the required funds. The cases were heard without the intervention of Temple Trees. Temple Trees functioned according to the wish of one individual. Just before Sajith Premadasa contested the election I came and met him while having to pay back a debt."
