COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Colombo Crimes Division stated that the telephone recordings of MP Ranjan Ramanayake have been sent to the Government Analyst for further investigations.

According to a senior official at the CCD, the recordings have been directed to submit a full report on the incident to assist future investigations.

When News1st contacted the Governments Analyst’s Department in this regard and an official at the department said that they had received a part of the recordings.

He added that steps will be taken to analyze them with the expertise of audiotape analysts to compile a report as soon as possible.
