Registering new parties to conclude by end of January

Colombo (News 1st): The National Election Commission says, it would conclude the process of registering newly formed political parties by the end of this month. The Commission added several applications have been received in this regard adding that 70 political parties have been registered in total thus far. The NEC added, registration of several political parties would be suspended since they have not handed in their accounting reports.
