SLTB to import 2000 new buses

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The Sri Lanka Transport Board says it has taken steps to import 2,000 new buses. An official attached to the SLTB said the new buses will arrive in the country within the first three months of next year. He added, the SLTB is facing a deficit of 1,650 buses at present. An official attached to the SLTB added that the income of the SLTB during the last two weeks of December was recorded to be in excess of Rs 83mn.
